Touching Frequencies

Touching Frequencies is an interactive art and science installation that makes invisible frequencies both audible and visible. At its core is a custom-built Theremin connected to living plants like Aloe Vera. By approaching or touching the plant, visitors alter the sound frequencies, which are amplified through a synthesizer and visualized using TouchDesigner.

The project highlights the role of frequencies in our environment and explores the interaction between humans and nature. By positioning plants as active participants in a dynamic ecosystem, Touching Frequencies invites visitors to engage, experiment, and experience sound as a tangible power.
